I am currently an occupational therapist and I practice yoga daily. I have done a lot of research on yoga therapy and am very interested in it. How do you get bigger chest for gym workout?

I’m trying to get bigger a chest. I’ve been working out for almost 5 years now, but I can never get my chest bigger than I want. I’m a hard gainer. So I need to do heavy sets with low reps. But I would like to know how much chest workout I should do each week? I’m planning to workout on my chest 4 days a week. Is that too much? An well thoughtout advice would help alot. And please, no rude or irrelevent comments. This is only for serious gym rats. Thanks!!!

This Is Why Your Biceps Are Still Small!

There are many reasons that people want to build muscle mass on their biceps. For the majority of people a day at work involves wearing a tie. This of course means that only your biceps are really visible. Maybe this could be one of the reasons can become obsessed with growing huge biceps. It seems strange then that plenty of people seem to be able to build up big pectoral and shoulder muscles yet struggle with the bicep muscle.
Are you making this bicep muscle mass mistake?
Exercises that shift heavy weight is what will stimulate your muscle into growth. The heavier the weights you can lift the stronger and therefore bigger they become. However if the bicep muscle is isolated individually it is not easy to shift a great deal of weight. This then increases the difficulty in stimulating muscle growth. In short people are doing the wrong exercises to build muscle mass on their guns.
So how come bodybuilders use concentration curlS?
Well, quite simply concentration curls are really an exercise for sculpting and shaping the biceps and not for mass. If you have normal sized biceps then you have nothing to shape therefore stop doing this type of exercise!
So what type of exercises do I need to do to get big biceps?
You need to be shifting heavy weight with your guns for mass so try underhand grip pullups, bent over rows and indeed any other multi-joint back exercise. these movements all use heavy weights. Yes, that is in part due to the fact that they are hitting the back muscles but also stressing the guns hard also. Whats more have you ever met anyone with huge guns that did not also have huge back muscles? No, big guns come hand in hand with big back muscles.
So, in brief conclusion use the major compound back exercises and perhaps standing barbell curls also in order to give yourself the best chance of increasing your bicep muscle mass! Leave the concentration curls for when you do have big bicep muscles.
So if you want to build muscle up on your biceps train your back hard, eat lots and rest plenty! Apply these building muscle tips and you will have puny arms no more.
